Services agreement
Fill in the fields and the agreement takes shape alongside, with the clauses already written: subject matter, term, price, payment terms, technical autonomy, confidentiality and jurisdiction. Available in Portuguese, English or Spanish. When you are done, print it, and your browser's print dialog offers save as PDF.
Three steps, nothing to install.
Everything runs on your own computer, start to finish.
Name the parties
Who provides the service and who engages it: name, tax number and contact. These go into the header and the signature blocks.
Describe the work, the price and the dates
What will be done, for how much, by when, and for how long the agreement runs. A vague subject matter is the most common cause of argument later.
Print or save
The agreement is already finished alongside. Hit generate and pick your printer, or save as PDF from the print dialog itself.
Services are not employment
This agreement is for someone providing a service with autonomy: they decide how, when and with what means. If in practice there are set hours, subordination to instructions and integration into the paying party's structure, the relationship is employment, and the right contract is a different one. Calling it a services agreement does not change what the relationship is, and reclassification is expensive.
The subject-matter clause decides everything
Clause 1 carries the description of the work. The more concrete it is (what is in, what is out, what counts as delivered), the less room is left for argument. The template pushes detail into annexes, which is where most of the writing should be.
Payment and late payment
The clauses provide for a deposit and balance, payment by bank transfer, and statutory default interest if payment is late. If your case is a monthly fee or payment against deliverables, write that into the amount and terms fields: the document prints what you put there.
This is a generic template, not legal advice
The clauses were written from common Portuguese practice and cover ordinary cases. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer for YOUR case. High-value agreements, those transferring intellectual property, or those with clients outside the European Union deserve review. The document carries that warning printed in the footer, and it cannot be removed.
It does not handle invoicing or tax
The agreement says what is payable; it does not issue an invoice, does not calculate VAT or withholding, and reports nothing to the tax authority. That is invoicing work, and this builder does not do it.
You still have to sign it
The document prints with signature blocks ready, but the builder does not sign anything. For a qualified signature, use Chave Movel Digital or another certified provider on the PDF you generated.
Questions about the services agreement.
Do I need a written agreement to provide services?
Portuguese law does not require writing for most services agreements, but without it there is no proof of what was agreed. When there is an argument about scope, price or deadline, the written document is what decides.
Can I edit the clauses after generating?
The document comes as it is, and the builder has no clause editor. What you can change are the fields you fill in, and those feed the text. To change the clauses, edit the document after saving it.
Does it work for clients outside Portugal?
The clauses point to Portuguese law and to the court you name. That works for foreign clients who accept that choice, which is common within the European Union. Outside it, enforcing a Portuguese judgment can be hard, and advice before signing is worth it.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Each document costs one euro, as a one-off purchase: you pay for that document and there is no monthly fee. The account is created by magic link, with no password. The declaration opens without paying, one a day.
Agreed the work verbally?
Put it in writing.
